This is the swimming pool at Rudyard Kipling’s Naulakha estate in Dummerston, VT. The property is currently managed by the Landmark Trust USA.
Multiple buildings and outbuildings on the estate have precedence over the renovation of the pool, especially since it was built after the Kipling’s ownership of the property, but my dream is to renovate this structure into a reflecting pool of it’s original shape, and bring the trickle of water back to the gardens of Naulakha.
